There is something I have loved lately......and its seeing Ry on the floor. I feel so tired most of the time from these 5 boys but having a baby makes me feel young and I need all the help I can get in that department. But just having him by me and scooting everywhere is so fun to watch. The other day I was making me bed and look over and he is just watching me with that grin. And his little hands moving all the time. I have been calling him Harley because his hands always look like he is reving up his bike......I couldn't resist. We are all loving watching him grow!!

Ethan is done with preschool and it makes me feel like time is going by way too fast. He was so cute and he even sang all the songs. I love the hand on his chin like he is in deep thought, so cute!

Ethan has been so attached to Ry. The first thing he does when he wakes up is go to where he is. He is always trying to get him to laugh, and kiss him, maul him....the whole bit. Its so cute to see the bond these two have.

Alex loves to laugh nothing makes him happier! He will force a hard laugh just to get the ball rolling, although he is very good at being two his laugh makes up for it all. You can't help but laugh when you hear him! This is one thing I hope will never change about him. He is a funny kid!

This picture is how I feel about January, yuk so gray and cold. I long for warm weather and January is a reminder of months of cold. But on the light side I love this month to start new goals for the year. And its always fun to look back on how the kids have grow. We went to the Celine Dion concert She is so amazing live, her voice is incredible. Andrew was not as excited as I was, but he survived. I loved it she is one of my all time favorites. Come on who hasn't even belted out one of her songs in the car : ) And this is the second time I have seen her in concert, still good! I know its crazy but I love her white dress and even the boots, very french! It was an amazing concert!!

I only have one grandma around my "Nanny" pasted away when I was young, so I have my one grandma left and I love her. She is so sweet and I love seeing her, she is the kind of grandma that always makes you feel better and tells you all the nice things you want to hear, but means it too! She is just great and a wonderful grandma and I love her!

Andrew's parents came out for a visit after Christmas and it was great to spend time with them, especially when they are leaving for their mission soon to Finland. The boys got to to build and bear and pick out toys are target. I talked Andrew's mom into a pair of Ugg's so of course that was fun. It was great to spend all that time with them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Walking With The Dinosaurs!

We got the boys tickets to Walking with the Dinosaurs for Christmas so we went this month. It was a lot fun and done very well, they said it "was the best day of their lives!" It was a great night out.

Christmas 2008

Christmas came and went this year and the list got longer and longer so good thing it did come up fast. They boys were excited as always and got the things they wanted. It was fun to leave the cookies out and check for tracks out in the front yard. Its always so fun to watch them open their gifts. Tyson even opened one and peeked at it and said "oh I think Santa made a mistake, Seth you wanted one of these lego cars", then he gave it to Seth, it was just sweet. Of course Alex loved the boxes more than anything else. They will be busy playing all their Wii games and building all their legos (their new addiction). It was a great Christmas.

I how my boys love being friends and how they take care of each other. The older ones are so sweet with Alex and take care of him or get him things when he needs them. I love watching them all play together and watch out for one another. They are also so great with me they always are doing things for me from drawing pictures, to picking a flower, to getting a drink of water....they are always telling me how much they love me and what a great mom I am even when I don't deserve it. They are all my little sweethearts.

Tyson came home today really excited because he got a trophy for winning "battle of the books". He wasn't going to enter the contest then he said "I think I know most of the answers so I thought why not". So I was glad that he did because he got his first trophy. Nice job Tyson, you are always hungry for knowledge. And I thought I would throw in his latest art work he is too funny!

Fighting Darth

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland in October and we had a lot of fun. It was so great to get away and just spend some family time together. The boys had a blast and Alex got better towards the end of the week.(He cried on every ride!!). It was fun to hang out and see friends although was just a wonderful trip.

Seth has always been my little night owl, he never slept in his bed for about a year and he still loves to stay up late. The other night he was wired and came in my bedroom and was just being too funny to make him go to his bed. Its funny to compare these photos to then and now and see that some things just don't change.

Tyson went school on Monday and when he came home I asked how school went he said fine he was just itchy. I didn't think much of it because he gets hot a recess and that is usually the cause. I noticed while he was doing his homework he was still itching, I looked at him and didn't notice anything then I just thought to lift up his shirt, he was covered with massive welts and hives all over his tummy.

We gave him benadryl and it didn't seem to help. We gave him an oatmeal bath and then he got out and said "my throat hurts and I don't feel well"....then he smacked his chin on the bathroom vanity and past out. That was scary to see. He didnt remember anything when he came back around. So we gave him some more medicine (its great to have Andrew's Dad on call) and he was able to sleep then the next morning it was everywhere. I thought maybe it was a virus at this point and he threw up once and had bad stomach pain so that would make sense, but then his face got swollen on Wednesday and Thursday. We took him in to the doctor and he didn't even know either, maybe something he ate at school and had a severe allergic reaction or a virus hard to say.

I feel so bad he felt that way at school and didn't say anything and then to have it spread and itch like that. I break out like this after I have a baby so I can feel his pain. But its much harder to watch them itch and be so miserable.

It was not a fun week and again my children surprise me with their strength to endure. Glad its over for him!!

Alex is looking so big to me these days, and I feel sad I hate it when my babies arent babies anymore. He is walking around getting into EVERYTHING, talking, holding his own with his brothers, walking around the house yelling mom. He loves his daddy, loves to go outside, and loves his stuffed animals. He loves putting things together and taking them apart, he reminds me a lot of Tyson when he was younger. He also loves to laugh and picks up on humor really well (Seth and him have this bond). Its just crazy to think he is becoming a toddler. Time goes by way to fast. I enjoyed what President Monson said this conference about how we will miss these days and to find joy in the journey. Its so true and it was a good reminder.

Getting Ready for Halloween

After the Hike we went to Target and let the boys look at the Halloween stuff, the swords were the main event.

My mom got Alex his costum while we were in MN. He is not happy about it, but he looks so cute in it. Hopefully he will warm up to it before the holiday. I love this picture!

Stewart Falls

We went up and hiked to Stewart Falls this weekend. It was a very beautiful drive up the canyon, seeing all the leaves change. And it was good to get out into the fresh air. The boys love being outside throwing rocks and discovering things. And they love the ski lift unlike their mother. We met up with Bri, Julie and Jen on there way back down, so it was fun to end with them. And of course the boys love Julie she will always give them whatever they want!! : )

Alicia Keys Concert

Rob's body decided it had enough, after years of being in pain its good to know he is not in pain anymore. Its hard for me to let you go. I'm not good with words and this makes me sad just typing it up!! The coolest cousin anyone could ever have! Starting School

Well school has started!! Tyson in 2nd and Seth in Kindergarten. They are both excited and have good teachers so it should be a good year. Seth was ready at 8am for school, it was hard for him to wait till 12:00. He kept asking me "Is it time yet?", and even at 11am he was ready to get in the car. Then he said "Oh why can't I just go all day". Soon enough bud! It was great to see them happy about old friends and getting back into the swing of things. It was even cute when I picked them up from school Tyson ran right to Seth's door and waited for him. Tyson has been so cute giving all sorts of brotherly advise. I just hope I will start to get more information about how school was that day instead of it was good. Men really are not talkers and it starts young. I want details boys details, oh well. It will be fun and it will be crazy to just have 2 at home, why does time have to go by so fast!!

For those of you who don't know my Dad just wrote his first book. Well there are many more but the first of this type. It was fun to see the whole process from beginning to end. This is such a great book and I loved reading it, can't wait for the next one Dad!! We are very proud!!

Andrew and I have been married for 8 years!! I can't believe how fast time goes by. I love being married to my best friend. I could not ask for a better husband. I'm so grateful the Lord brought us together. And I'm so excited for all our years to come!!

Leaving for Maryland

We went to Maryland this last week. Andrew's Dad is retiring from being a Doctor and the whole family flew out for his last week of work and some city parties on his behalf. We had a blast with everyone and it was great to see his Dad at this point in his life. He has been the Doctor in Brunswick for so long he meant alot to the community. I was glad we could be there for it all.

We decided to leave Alex with his Nanny and Papa which was hard for me but I knew he would be spoiled and loved. And Julie took work off to help too. I don't know how I do it with out you guys!
I thought with all the running around and the plane ride (need I say more) it would be better, so we said goodbye with 2 days of tears for me and flew out. His brothers missed him and Seth cried on the way to the airport for his little brother.
Thanks Mom, Dad, and Julie and everyone else who helped that week with Alex, I never worried about him. His loves his Nanny and Papa and we didn't miss him walking while we were gone thank goodness.....

Of course with all the stress that comes with just getting out the door we left the camera, so thank goodness Andrew had his iphone and we were able to get some shots in.

Visiting Frederick

We stopped by Pitcrew in Frederick, this used to be the skate shop that Andrew worked at for years His friends own it and its been around for a long time. It was cool to see his stomping grounds for skating, getting chased by police, and ties to his old friends.....
It was good to see those guys they are great. Of course we stocked up on the Pitcrew shirts and got a couple boards!!

Farewell Dr. Allgaier

We had many things to attend while back for his Dad's retirement, one of them was this reception that the doctor's office threw him. Andrew's Dad has been a doctor in Brunswick for a long time and has meant a lot to that community, there were some tears that night. It was fun to see the town come out for him and see all their friends and loved ones. Aunt Eva was there and she is so sweet the boys knew this grandma was too hard to resist.

Ethan loves his cousin Kristen, they were always together, he loves girls! It was cute to see them together, this was on a little "date" as Kristen would say.
The other thing the boys love is their Uncle David, Andrew's older brother who lives in London (soon will be moving to China.) They thought he was the coolest uncle. Tyson said he has two favorites, Uncle Mike and Uncle David! Thanks Uncle David for all the time you gave the boys, they had so much fun with you!

Hershey Park

I think they were a little excited to ride the cars they had. It was great Seth wanted to go on everything and Tyson had a lot of questions to make sure it was safe. Too bad they couldn't go on much they are still little, ok well short!! Luckily that had all the kid rides they did.

Nothing beats driving back east there are so many beautiful things, and no drive is ever boring. We crossed the Potomac River which was fun, the boys loved the fact we were still in our car. Luckily it was very slow!!

Shopping with Boys!!

We went to an outlet mall in Virgina one day and shopping with boys can be interesting, they have to find things to entertain themselves, and usually its just Seth. He can always find something and make it funny, I love suit poses, only Seth. They had fun and daddy let them get their baseball hats from the Nike store if they were good.

Julie gave him the name "Little Letterman" because of the gap in his teeth, which I have to agree they can look alike its so cute! [Alex is not Daivd Letterman : )]

Alex loves his little car that his Nanny let him have. He could spend all day in it. And if anyone gets in his way he grunts at them and then pushes his way back in. I hope you are ready for him Nanny and Papa! Alex you are such a riot!!

Seth's Otoplasty

Seth had his otoplasty done this month and he was so brave! The worst part for all of us was when they pulled him away from me to take him into surgery. After getting over that he did great in surgery. Things went well and he is healing everyday. Those cups he had on his head he wore for a week and they were so tight they left bruises and indents all over his head (poor guy). They are off now and he wears a sports headband. We are all excited for the swelling to go down and see the results, but even now he is happy.

My boys (you too babe) love the Wii, ok sometimes you will catch me trying to play although I'm not any good. Its still tons of fun and has helped tons with Seth surgery since he can't do much yet. Its fun to see the boys all play and get excited about it, or fight over it take your pick. You can see how into it they get....

Best Buds...a.k.a....Twins

Tyson and Seth have been best buds since day one. I guess its a good thing they are so close in age, they do everything together. Now that they are older they act like they are twins and even call themselves twins every now and then. Its been fun to watch over the years.

This is usually what happens when Ethan does not get his way. Starts off all happy and cute, then asks for something, (usually food) then falls into his break down mode. You can see he wants the candy in his hand. Some days I just have to give in....I love you Ethan!!
